Registration

Places for the course are limited to 50.
Places for the GSSP exam are limited to 20.
Registration is first-come, first-served.
Registration is complete on receipt of payment.
Personal and invoice co-ordinates are required.
Registrations are transferable within the same company or organisation.

Currently, there are still 13 places available for the course and 12 for the exam.

Course fees

2,750 €, with the following discounts:

25% for early birds (before January 1^st),
25% for sponsors and employees of partner organizations,
25% for core members of L-SEC,
10% for alumni of the Technology and IT Management program of Solvay Business School,
10% for corporate and individual members of L-SEC,
10% for members of affiliated organizations.

Discounts cannot be accumulated.

Fee includes refreshments, lunch, hand-outs, the book Forensic Discovery (Addison-Wesley Professional Computing Series) co-authored by Wietse Venema, Secure Coding: Principles and Practices co-authored by Ken van Wyk and a conference dinner. VAT will be charged at 21%.

Exam

The GIAC Secure Software Programmer (GSSP) certification examination can be taken on March 5^th at 2PM. The exam is organized by SANS.

The course fee does not include participation in the examination. GSSP candidates will be charged 50€ (excl. VAT) if they register at SANS with discount code GSSP250.

Withdrawal policy

On withdrawal from the course before February 1^st, fees will be refunded. Between February 1^st and February 15^th, a 25% refund will be made. After that, course fees remain payable in their entirety.

Hotel bookings

If you require accommodation during the course, Begijnhof Congreshotel is conveniently located next to the training facility. It is not Leuven's cheapest hotel, but we have negotiated a discount for course participants that should make your stay there more affordable: 155€ per night for a single and 180€ for a double room. Mention the secappdev course and reservation number G33949.

Bed & Breakfast tends to be a cheaper option. You may also find a cheaper hotel through the town's hotel listing - Begijnhof Congreshotel apart, Hotel New Damshire is closest to the course location.
